The Schüco TropTec™ AW 40.NI is a non-insulated outward-opening aluminum window system, designed with architectural flexibility, durability, and performance in warm (tropical) climates. It has a profile depth of 40 mm and is made to meet high standards of weather-tightness, safety, and ease of fabrication.

Side-hung, projected side-hung, projected top-hung, and double-vent windows.

Face width / profile dimensions

Basic profile depth 40 mm, narrow face width (approx. 74 mm for side-hung, etc.) to give slim, elegant sightlines.

Size capability

Max vent heights up to ~1800 mm for projected top-hung, ~2400 mm for side-hung; vent widths in certain opening types up to ~1500 mm.

Water tightness: up to 600 Pa (class 9A)
Wind load resistance: up to ~ 2500 Pa for certain profiles / vent types
